SDC Acquires Mammoth Werks, LLC Assets

Mammoth Werks, LLC is a San Diego based consulting firm with expertise in medical devices, consumer products and industrial tooling. Over the past 8 years, Mammoth Werks has served a multitude of clientele from successful orthopedic device start ups such as In2Bones to high growth consumer electronics companies such as Fitbit and GoPro. Mammoth Werks also holds multiple US patents on in house products. From this deal, SDC will gain development equipment, clientele, personnel agreements and cash on hand.

Surgeon Design Center’s Founder and CEO mentioned this about the acquisition “Acquiring substantially all of Mammoth Werks’ assets will jumpstart our new firm in the right direction for growth as a surgical device and equipment development firm. The group at MW will be vital to our initial service offering and expertise.”

The deal has closed as of July 15th 2022.
